- There are 132 mil. college students in the world
- There are 16.6 mil. college students in the U.S.
- 78% of incoming freshmen in the U.S. say that they do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ
When I heard all of these numbers I felt a little overwhelmed. Louie asked, " When you hear these numbers do they just roll over in your head, or do they cause turmoil within you?" What a challenging question! At first, theses numbers didn't mean much to me, but after I tried to put faces to those numbers my heart began to change. I pictured people I pass by in my school every week and people I meet at work. The thought of so many people who don't have a relationship with Christ did cause turmoil within me. I thought back to the verse I heard so many times at the Passion conferences- Isaiah 26:8 "...your name and renown are the desire of our hearts." I want this verse to be on the hearts of our generation. I want all those included in that 78% to come alive because of Jesus Christ! I hope you will join me in this desire. See you all on Tuesday!

Wow... I've heard those before but tonight the 78% seems huge to me. I want the atmosphere on our campuses to change for the renown of God. Hopefully we can be a small part of that change.
I hope these numbers are different at Trinity. This almost makes me want to be on a secular campus so I can do something about it.
