I don't know about you guys, but sometimes I just need to be told to "put down the shovel" like we heard tonight from Louie. The wells that I spend a lot of my time digging in don't hold any water and they certainly are not the fountain of living water that is our God. I wish that I would listen to God better when He tells me that He is worth pursuing more than anything else, you know?! Well thank you for being a part of my life guys; I truly enjoy our time together and pray that God will knit us together into a genuine community that walks with Him in this world. Let's put down the shovels that are blistering our hands in worthless pursuits to drink of the perfect water of Jesus Christ. That is what will fill us.
Please continue to pray for the students and families connected with Northern Illinois University. The first funerals were held yesterday and many people are hurting and need to know the truth about the God who never lets go. Talk to you all soon, hopefully this weekend!
Grace and peace
-Kyle
